This online course outlines the steps and technologies that can be used to create electronic storybooks. This course is worth 3 hours which can be used for both Teacher Choice and Continuing Professional Education hours if done during after school hours. All work must be submitted during after school hours to receive credit.

This course is useful for teachers who:

• want to integrate the use of technology into his/her classroom
• want to motivate students to be creative writers
• want to motivate students to be creative thinkers
• is interested in an alternative to traditional bookmaking projects

After completing the tutorial teachers will:

• have had an opportunity to view sample electronic storybooks (e-books)
• possess an understanding of the different types of e-books
• have an available resource for online e-books
• possess an understanding of the steps required for the completion of an e-book project
