Sample Storybooks

Here are several e-book samples. Spend the next 30 to 40 minutes looking at and reading the various e-books. While reading the sample stories start thinking about how you could integrate e-books into your curriculum. Whether they be teacher created, professionally created (online) or student created.

BBC Schools: A terrific resource for preschool all the way to high school. There are several online storybooks here, you may have to take some time to search for them.
Billy Bear 4 Kids: There are a few good ones here that I think younger kids would do very well with.
Storybook Online Network: A site that holds many stories written by children around the world. These are basically story starters where a child can elect to add on to a story in progress.

Andersen Fairy Tales: classic folk stories and fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen. Web-published children's books with Flash animation and narration. Featuring cartoons, e-learning, biography of Hans Christian Andersen, and links to the fairy tales.
Brementown Musicians: The story of the musicians of Bremen, one of the classic folk and fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. A narrated Flash animated cartoon retells the beloved folktale. Kidspace Storyhour: A collection of online stories. Some stories have sound, others don't.
