Valedictorian – Christopher James Rogers II
Salutatorian – June Atley
Christopher James Rogers II is the first valedictorian for Stevens High School . (This is the first graduating class for Stevens HS.) Rogers plans to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis , Md. The son of Scott and Pamela Rogers, he is the recipient of a NROTC four-year scholarship.. While in school, he was president of the National Honor Society, president of Junior Statesman of America, and vice-president of the debate team. He is also a member of the cross country team and a Landmark volunteer.
June Atley is the first salutatorian for Stevens HS. This fall, she plans to attend The University of Texas in Austin majoring in foreign languages. The daughter of Mariza Susvilla, she is the recipient of the Hi-Valley Optimist Club scholarship. While in school, she was the treasurer of the Art Club, treasurer of the Junior Classical League, vice president of the French Club, and treasurer of the Spanish National Honor Society. "I am ambitious and determined and willing to learn new things," she says.
