Exams: All students will remain in the exam period the entire time. Classes will be dismissed over the intercom.
A study hall will be provided for those students on campus. The semester exam counts twenty percent of the semester grade. It is expected that the student will take the exam on the given day and at the scheduled time. Students must remain on campus if they are going to utilize NISD transportation home.
Senior final exam exemptions:
The following is the criteria for Senior final exam exemptions:
1. The student has three or fewer days absence during the second semester excluding school business absences.
2. The student is passing the entire school year of a full year, one credit course.
3. The student's average for that semester is an eighty or better.
4. The students conduct grade in that class for that semester must be satisfactory or better.

These absences will be considered excused absences. These absences will not be held against exempt seniors for purposes of perfect attendance recognition at graduations. These absences will not negate their exemptions from the exams (due to more than 3 absences).
A student who is eligible for exemption may take the exam if he/she desires.
Students who have been assigned to the alternative school during the current semester are ineligible for exemptions.
