Testing Schedule for 2007-2008

New to Northside Students:

Nominations Due: Aug. 28, 2007

Testing Window: Sept 11-22, 2007

Results Expected: End of Sept, 2007

Fall Testing:

Nominations Due: Sept. 8, 2007

Testing Window: Oct. 2-13, 2007

Results Expected: Nov. 10, 2007

Spring Testing:

Nominations Due: Jan. 12, 2008

Testing Window: Feb. 5-16, 2008

Results Expected: March 20, 2008

Screening and assessment for possible participation in the gifted program is with scheduled sessions in the fall and spring semesters. Students are eligible for screening once every 12 months.

Enrichment Services

Outside the Lines:

An enrichment day for students who do not regularly attend ALPHA sses. Students come from their English class once a semester . Students work cooperatively in a variety of activities. Outside the Lines focuses on cooperative learning, problem solving, and creativity.

Classroom Enrichment:

We service students through assisting classroom teachers with planning, and directing lessons that incorporate higher order thinking skills.
