STINSON COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
MISSION STATEMENT

The Stinson Counseling Department, in partnership with parents, teachers, administration and the community, is dedicated to serving all students with the purpose of helping them build personal assets, character and life skills which will help them become successful citizens in our world. The foundation of the Stinson guidance program are four components: Classroom Guidance (teaching skills, such as communication, conflict resolution and anger management), Individual Planning (including goal setting), Responsive Services (counseling individuals and groups) and System Support (supporting the overall school program).
