Campus Applications Technologists (a.k.a. CATs) are assigned to each high school in the Northside Independent School District. The primary function of this highly motivated group of professionals is to implement technology training and development for all Campus staff in order to maximize the use of available technology for the improvement of student learning.

Administrators/Decision Makers, Counselors, ParaProfessionals and Instructional Assistants are provided training and support on all of Microsoft Suite, district specialty software including Cognos and AEIS-IT, Excelsior Software , and PDAS Online. CATs serve as the Grade2 Manager for each high school campus and provide all training needs for teachers on the electronic grade book. Campus wide support includes GroupWise, Novell,School Messenger, Substitute Employee Management System, and other technology on demand needs.
