Northside ISD issues laptop computers to educators when the campus receives the bond-funded technology redeployment or when new schools open. These laptops replace the traditional desktop computers and offer teachers the opportunity to work, communicate, and collaborate in new ways using wireless technology. Educators will be able to take the technology with them to attend meetings, professional development, or work away from the school.
This online course contains important information regarding your responsibility for the use of your Northside issued laptop. Also included are links to training documents to help you learn how to connect to the Internet at work and home, how to print using the Ringdale printing solution, how to use your laptop with the projection device in your classroom (tv or projector), and more.
Completion of this online course is required of every Northside staff member who is issued a District-owned laptop.
