Deployments

The bond-funded technology deployment program began in 1999. Through this program, NISD replaces certain technologies at campuses on a six year replacement cycle. NISD is able to provide hardware that supports state-mandated curriculum in core and enrichment areas. This allows teachers and students to have access to important instructional technologies to support teaching and learning. Additionally, the new technology enables campus staff to utilize upgraded versions of some productivity software for operations and instruction.

This page provides up to date information about the bond-funded technology deployments that are ongoing throughout the District. Beginning in May 2009, campuses scheduled for deployment will also be migrated into Active Directory.
