Administrators
play a pivotal role determining how well technology is used
in our schools. The Collaborative for Technology Standards
for School Administrators (TSSA Collaborative) has developed
standards that enable us to move from just acknowledging the
importance of administrators to defining the specifics of
what administrators need to know and be able to do to optimize
the effective use of technology in our schools. Technology
Turning Points Part II will focus on the following TSSA standards:
Leadership
and Vision - Educational leaders inspire a
shared vision for comprehensive integration of technology
and foster an environment and culture conducive to the realization
of that vision.
Learning
and Teaching - Educational leaders ensure
that curricular design, instructional strategies, and learning
environments integrate appropriate technologies to maximize
learning and teaching.
