National Highway Transportation Safety Administration--Make the Right Call To EMS (This is an important children's web site on how they can keep calm, stay focused and get the call done to 9-1-1.)

National Highway Transportation Safety Administration--Back To School Safety (This link has back to school safety reminders for children including preparing for the school bus ride.)

National Highway Transportation Safety Administration--Safety City (for Kids) (This is a web site for school bus safety that is very child friendly.)

National School Transportation Association (NSTA) School Bus Safety Guide (This is a comprehensive web site for bus safety.)

NHTSA School Bus Safety Publications--School Bus Safety: Safe Passage For America's Children (This is also a comprehensive school bus safety web site for children.)

Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (Children may receive a presentation at their school from a real locomotive engineer who talks about bus safety at all railroad crossing.)

Scholastic's The National School Bus (This is a children's web site that provides excellent information for youngsters about school bus safety.)

School Bus and School Loading Zone Safety Kids Page (This link provides safety information about children at the loading zone and on the bus that is for children.)

School Bus Safety Web (This link is a very helpful web site for children and school bus safety.)

Texas Association For Pupil Transportation (TAPT) School Bus Safety Poster Contest (K-6 artists generate posters with a particular school bus safety theme each year and have their work judged by transportation supervisors in competition with other entrants statewide.)

Texas School Bus Safety Speech Contest (This speech contest is intended to encourage high school students to be conscious of the importance of school bus safety and promote academic achievement.)
