Pumpkin Mania

Each year the Gifted and Talented classes
do what is called Pumpkin Mania. Students
bring pumpkins from home and carve
them at school. They do a measurement lab
where they find area, perimeter, circumference,
etc. of items related to pumpkins. They also
learn that the pumpkin family is called Cucurbitacea.

and their pumpkins.
