On April 3, 1973, the first cell phone call was made by Dr. Martin Cooper. A version of Basic "computer language" was invented in 1974-75. The MITS Altair 8800, invented by H. Edward Roberts, was developed and marketed as, the world's first "personal computer." It however, was a kit for hobbyists to "build" themselves. The AppleII, the first "real" fully built Personal Computer was unveiled in 1977, by Steven P. Jobs and Steve Wozniak. |
