Dr. Joe Ward Elementary students
and staff honor our military. We appreciate the sacrifices
of those currently servng in the
military and our Veterans who have kept our country
safe. Each day of the week before
Veteran's Day the Ward Wranglers honored our
veterans by wearing red, then white,
and blue on subsequent days of the week.
We wore our school shirts and then
our celebration culminated on Friday with a special
patriotic program with some of
our current military members and veterans present.
We put up a bulletin board with
pictures of our military members both past and present.
Thank you for helping our country
remain: "the home of the brave and the land of the free."
