Community/Health Fair
On October 18, 2008, Dr. Joe Ward Elementary hosted a Community/Health Night for our parents and anyone else from our community that wanted information on safety and fitness. We had representatives from the Northside Police, Safe and Drug Free Schools, Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Even Start Program, Aetna Medicaid and CHIP, 7 to 7 Dental, The Vitamin Shoppe, CHOIS Taekwondo Academy, H.E.B., Fiddlestiks, and Spectrum Athletic Clubs.
