Northside Education Foundation awards grants to teachers for innovative lessons, field trips, or materials for their classrooms. Dr. Joe Ward Elementary has been fortunate to receive several grants
during the four quarters that grants are awarded.

 


Javier Leal and Brad Ward present a grant to Mrs. Koehler for the study of the environment.


Mrs. Stephens receives a grant for Intergrating Science with Art.

Ms. King receives a grant for math studies.

Mrs. Morgan receives a grant for vocabulary studies.

Mrs. Polk receives a grant to purchase drums for music studies.

Mrs. Koehler receives an award to honor Dr. Joe Ward Staff for having 100% participation in the employee pledge drive for NEF.

Mrs. Koehler receives a NEF Grant for the study of the environment.

Mrs. Parker received one of the first ever Ignite NEF grants, which she will use to purchase a digital video camera. The grant is funded through the GT Enrichment Council. Ms. Miller received a $ 500.00 grant from the NEF Prize Patrol
so she can buy math games for her first grade class.
