Pie in the Face for Administrators
The Student Council at Dr. Joe Ward Elementary sponsored a fund raising event for Spirit Chains for each grade level - Pre-K through 5th grade. The grade level with the longest Spirit Chain got to have their teacher throw pies at the administrators. The winner was the fifth grade. The total earnings for all grade levels was over $560, exceeding their $500 goal. Below are pictures of Ms. Nelson, our principal, Ms. Merrell, our Vice-Principal, Mrs. Castillo, our Administrative Intern, and Mr. Romero, a fifth grade teacher, all who were good sports for a good cause.
