Student Council Field Trip to City Hall

The Dr. Joe Ward Elementary Student Council took a trip to downtown San Antonio and got to attend part of
a City Council meeting and were recognized by Mayor Phil Hardberger. Students were also taken on a
tour of Mayor Hardberger's office and got to sit in his chair and look at the memorabilia on the walls
and the shelves. Students also got to visit the office of City Manager Cheryl Sculley and again got to sit in her
chair and get a feel for the work that she accomplishes.
