Bike Rodeo

Each Spring students at Dr. Joe Ward Elementary participate in a bike rodeo for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students have a checklist to ensure that their bikes are
safe and each student is required to wear a helmet when competing in the rodeo. Liberty Mutual
Insurance Company is in their second year of suppporting our bike rodeo and this year purchased
trophies and helped secure other prizes. Mr. Will Ruiz, representing Liberty Mutual, assisted
staff and PTA members and parents with registering bikes and putting on the rodeo.
