Students at Dr. Joe Ward Elementary enjoy reading and we celebrate reading
by spending an evening engaging in interesting and fun activities. Our first year we
were privileged to have Mrs. Ward, representing the Institute of Texan
Cultures, present some of the historical events in Texas. She showed some of the tools
as well as pictures of settlers in early Texas.
