Our namesake, Dr. Joe Ward, celebrated his 80th birthday on Saturday, September 2nd, 2006.
The staff of Dr. Joe Ward Elementary had a celebration for Dr. Ward on Friday, September 1st, 2006.
The staff prepared treats and had cakes, developed and showed a special video and Powerpoint,
highlighting Dr. Ward and our school. We also presented a special plaque to Dr. Ward
to honor his being a Hero for Kids.
