Scrapbooking

Each year the staff at Dr. Joe Ward Elementary completes a scrapbook with pictures and mementos of
the school year. Since the opening of the school the PTA has provided funds for materials to
complete the scrapbook. In years past, Mrs. Clayton and various staff members met throughout the year
and during the summer to create pages as a record of events that occurred during the school year.
When School Year 2006-07 began, the scrapbookers became part of the History Committee,
which meets once a month and create pages detailing the school happenings since the last meeting.
The History Committee also keeps the Special Events page updated with photos and information
about the school and events.
