Stargazing 2006-2007
Each year the Northside Elementary
Science Department sponsors an evening of Stargazing for
members of Young Astronauts
Chapters at the elementary schools in Northside. Members of the San
Antonio Astronomy Association
bring large telescopes so that students may look through them and learn
about planets and other objects in space. Activities such as Star Bingo,
Creature Feature, Build A Comet, Space Olympics, and Phone Home to name
just a few, are completed as students rotate through the activities.
