Using a Wizard of Oz theme students
used music from the movie to sing about
having a brain and using it.
Students applauded and thanked
their classroom teachers, specialists
and Administrators for helping them be successful
and confident. Students in third,
fourth and fifth grades danced, did a cheer, and costumed
students acted out the parts
of Dorothy, The Tin Man, The Scarecrow
and The Cowardly Lion -to ensure
that everyone does their best on
the TAKS test.
