Ward Wranglers wanted to begin
lasting traditions that not only would provide pride in our school environment,
but also provide beauty and
respect for the environment. As well as honoring our namesake, Dr. Joe
Ward - his favorite flower is the bluebonnet. In September 2003, Ward Wranglers
held a Bluebonnet Stomp on the campus grounds. Students took cups of
bluebonnet seeds mixed with soil and poured their seeds onto the ground
and "stomped" them into the ground. At the beginning of April, our campus
was a sea of blue. We continue this tradition each year .
