	Learning Resource Center: This program is a pro-active teaching model designed to support students in their efforts to achieve their learning goals (210) 397-3141. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Learning Tree : Learning Tree After School Program extends the school day for children who otherwise might not be supervised at home. Children are engaged in academic support, enrichment, character development, and service learning activities. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act of 1987. NISD provides a variety of special services, highly qualified professionals, and modern well-equipped classrooms to accomplish this guarantee. Even Start integrates parent, adult, and early childhood education in a unified family-centered program that builds on available community resources.
