Learning Tree : Learning Tree After School Program extends the school day for children who otherwise might not be supervised at home. Children are engaged in academic support, enrichment, character development, and service learning activities. (210) 397-0339

Connections: A program for Northside students and their families identified as "homeless" under the guidelines of the federal Stewart B. McKinney Homeless Assistance Act of 1987. They can be reached at (210) 678-2992.

Special Education: A program which guarantees students with disabilities an equal opportunity for a free and appropriate public education. Even Start: This program helps parents become full partners in their child's education; helps children reach their full potential as learners; and provides literacy training for adults. Even Start integrates parent, adult, and early childhood education in a unified family-centered program that builds on available community resources. (210) 678-2989.

NISD Gifted and Talented Program: It is based upon Joseph Renzulli's concept of "giftedness," which addresses the student's intellectual ability, creativity, and task commitment.
