This school
year, Zachry Middle School celebrates 25 years of educating students.
Our school opened its doors to students in August, 1985. We've helped educate
thousands of students over the past quarter century.
On Friday, April 9, we will have our 25th Anniversary Celebration. Here's our tentative schedule for Friday:
-
Morning - students will see a presentation on Zachry's first 25 years and witness a time capsule filled with 2010 items, to be opened 25 years from now.
- Afternoon
- 4:30 - 5:45 - Reception in the Library
- 6:00 - 7:00 - Presentation in the Cafeteria
- Zachry band and choir perform
- Guest speakers include Mrs. Allain, Dr. Folks, Mr. Martinez, honored guests
- Recognition of five original teachers still at Zachry MS
- Recognition of Zachry principals
- PowerPoint presentation
- Time capsule
