skirts/jumpers that measure more than 3 inches above the knee
jumpers worn without a shirt/blouse/shorts
cargo or carpenter pants/skirts
capri, pedal-pusher, clam-digger pants
torn seams/frayed hems
hip huggers or stripes of any kind
metal studs, chains or other decorative accessories, including belts

Leggins may be worn if they are of the appropriate school color and under a school appropriate skirt. Leggins with designs are not permitted. Acceptable solid colors are white, black, brown, khaki or red.

· The shade of red shirt/blouse must be bright red.
· Shirt/Blouse must be collared oxford/polo style/golf-type.
· Shirt/Blouse may be long or short-sleeved.
· Shirt/Blouse must be long enough to be tucked in completely at all times.
· No shirt/blouse may be unbuttoned more than two (2) buttons from the top.
· Undergarments worn under white shirts/blouses must be solid white, red,   black or gray.

Shirts/Blouses with zippers or logos.
T-shirts of any color worn as an outer shirt
Sleeveless/Collarless shirts/blouses
Black shirts/blouses worn with black pants/skirts/jumpers
Spandex/Lycra tube tops not even as undergarments.

· Belts are required if pants have belt loops.
· Solid black or brown leather or woven fabric belts in solid black,   white or red are allowed
· Belt length must be the correct size. No more than a 3" overlap. Any overlap   must be put through a belt loop.
Suspenders are not allowed.

FOOTWEAR FOR ALL STUDENTS must comply with NISD Dress Code Policies.
