Counseling - Mrs. Griggs

Welcome, Zachry Wolverines! My name is Melissa Ramirez, and I am the 8th Grade counselor at Zachry Middle School. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I received both my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English and my Master's Degree in Counseling.

I began my career in education ten years ago, here at Zachry Middle School, where I taught 6th grade English for seven years. I left Zachry in 2005 to work as an elementary school counselor for the past two years.

I am excited to be back at my home campus, working with the Zachry community once again. I look forward to supporting and guiding the 8th grade students as we work together to make this a successful school year!
