Ms Rouse is the 7th grade counselor. She is originally from Alice, TX. Upon moving to San Antonio in 1992, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas-San Antonio. She received a Master of Science from Texas A&M-Kingsville in Guidance and Counseling. She is continuing her education through Texas A&M-Kingsville, working toward her certification as an LPC.

This is Ms. Rouse’s third year as a counselor at Zachry Middle School. Before coming to Zachry Middle School, she was an elementary school teacher for seven years at Passmore Elementary in the Northside School District.

In her spare time, she enjoys singing, reading and working out.
