GT / TIPS

Technology use abounds in GT! Students are using the Internet to research their projects. Then students use many different venues to present their research such as creating dynamic Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations with audio and animation. The students then use the digital projector and overhead screen when they present their product. Creating brochures, booklets and newsletter via Microsoft Publisher is both rewarding and exciting as they see their imaginations unfold on the screen and then in hard copy. Some students choose to create their own webpages. When needed, students use Microsoft Excel to create charts and graphs. Technology is a valuable tool in student learning and performance.
