ALPHA / GT

Technology use abounds in ALPHA / GT! Students are using the Internet to research their projects. Then students use many different venues to present their research such as creating dynamic Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations with audio, video and animation. Students present in front of the class, using a ceiling mounted digital projector, wireless presenter mouse and wireless microphone system! Creating brochures, booklets and newsletter via Microsoft Publisher is both rewarding and exciting as they see their imaginations unfold on the screen and then in hard copy. Some students choose to create their own webpages. When needed, students use Microsoft Excel to create charts and graphs. Technology is a valuable tool in student learning and performance.

The ALPHA / GT classroom received new desktop and laptop computers this fall, staying on the "cutting edge" of technology at Zachry!
