| All 7th grade students are required to take 12 weeks of Technology Applications. Using our newest computers, students are given an intense dose of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. This year, 8th Grade Advanced Technology Applications is offered to students who received a C or better in 7th Grade Computer Literacy. Students review Microsoft Office applications and are given more challenging assignments in each area. Advanced skills will also be taught in Video Production and Editing, using Windows MovieMaker, as well as Web Page Design using Dreamweaver and Fireworks, as well as Macromedia Flash. It's fun, intense and informative. |
