Northside Independent School District’s Board of Trustees and Administration advocate to advance policies that foster the best public education in Texas.
As the largest public school system in Bexar County and the fourth largest in the State of Texas, Northside promotes the successes of its teachers and students while actively engaging at the local, state, and federal levels. Our Trustees and Superintendent serve in leadership roles in local and statewide education organizations where they represent Northside’s mission and advocate for students, employees, and taxpayers.

House Bill 3 was passed by the Texas Legislature in 2019. The bill reformed funding for economically disadvantaged students, English Language Learners, Pre-K students and others, and brought the state’s share of funding to a higher level in an effort to relieve taxpayers.
