Read Across America Week

At Hoffmann, we want to instill a love of reading in our students.  Our goal is to show that reading is not only educational but also enjoyable!  With that mission in mind, we will celebrate Read Across America Week by honoring the legacy and literature of beloved Dr. Seuss, whose birthday is March 2nd.

Happy Birthday and hats off to Dr. Seuss!  The Cat in the Hat tried to bring lots of fun...hope it's a fun day of reading for you!  Wear your favorite hat today! Theodore "Seuss" Geisel grew up loving animals and it shows in so many of his books!  Show your animal spirit by wearing animal print or camouflage today! Dr. Seuss came up with some of the wackiest words and characters!  Show us your wacky side by wearing mismatched clothes and crazy hair! Dr. Seuss gave us so many great characters!  Celebrate all of his books by dressing up like your favorite Dr. Seuss character today and by READING! "You're off to great places!  Today is your day!  Your mountain is waiting...so get on your way!"  Pack your spring break bags early...wear your shades and tropical shirts today!

"You can find magic wherever you look.  Sit back and relax, all you need is a book." ~ Dr. Seuss
