I grew up here in San Antonio and graduated from Judson High School in 2003. I graduated from Louisiana State University in the fall of 2007 with my Bachelor of Music Education degree EC-12th grade with an emphasis in vocal music.
I have earned Levels I, II, and III in Orff Schulwerk at Trinity University, as well as Level 1 in both Kodaly and World Music Drumming. I am a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, as well as the Central Texas Orff chapter of AOSA.
In addition to singing, I enjoy reading, baking, spending time with my family, and performing folk dances with the German and Polish Folk Dancers of San Antonio! I play the bass guitar and ukulele and listen to all kinds of music (pop, rock, country, Broadway, classical, even movie soundtracks!)

Silver Bells
By Jay Livingston and Ray Evans
City sidewalks, busy sidewalks dressed in holiday style In the air there’s a feeling of Christmas.
Children laughing, people passing, meeting smile after smile, And on every street corner you hear:
Silver bells (silver bells), Silver bells (silver bells)
It’s Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling (ring-a-ling)
Hear them ring (hear them ring) Soon it will be Christmas day.
Strings of street lights, even stoplights blink a
bright red and green,
As the shoppers rush home with their treasures. Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch,
this is Santa’s big scene,
And above all the bustle you hear:
Silver bells (silver bells), Silver bells (silver bells)
It’s Christmas time in the city Ring-a-ling (ring-a-ling)
Hear them ring (hear them ring) Soon it will be Christmas day.
Part 1
Winter Fantasy by Jill Gallina
Carol of the Bells Music by M. Leontovich, Words by Peter Wilhousky, Arr. By
Snowflakes falling all over town,
Slipping sliding everybody rushin’ round. There’s an icy chill in the air,
Telling us that winter’s really here. Oh!
I’m so glad that winter is here.
Grab your sled and let out a happy cheer
because it’s snowing, blowing, all through the day Winter winds will surely blow all your cares away.
Part 2
Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. O’er the fields we go, Laughing all the way (ha ha ha!) Bells on bobtails ring, making spirits bright.
What fun it is to laugh and sing a sleighing song tonight. Oh!
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Hark how the bells, Sweet silver bells, All seem to say, Throw cares away
Christmas is here, Bringing good cheer, To young and old, Meek and the bold.
Ding dong ding dong That is their song With joyful ring
All caroling.
One seems to hear Words of good cheer From everywhere Filling the air.

I want a hippopotamus for Christmas Only a hippopotamus will do
Don't want a doll, No dinky tinker toy
I want a hippopotamus to play with and enjoy
Verse 2: I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you? He won't have to use A dirty chimney flue
Just bring him through the front door, That's the easy thing to do
Chorus: I can see me now on Christmas morning Creeping down the stairs
Oh what joy and what surprise When I open up my eyes
To see a hippo hero standing there
I want a hippopotamus for Christmas Only a hippopotamus will do
No crocodiles, No rhinoceroses I only like hippopotamuses
And hippopotamuses like me, too
Verse 3: Mom says a hippo would eat me up but then Teacher says a hippo is a vegetarian
There's lots of room for him In our two car garage
I'd feed him there And wash him there , And give him his massage

Jingle-Bell Rock By J. Beal and J. Boothe
Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell rock,
Alegre Vengo Traditional Puerto Rican Carol
Jingle-bell swing and jingle-bell ring. Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun. Now the jingle-hop has begun
Jingle-bell, jingle-bell, jingle-bell rock, Jingle-bells chime in jingle-bell time. Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle-bell Square in the frosty air.
What a bright time, it’s the right time to rock the night away.
Jingle-bell time is a swell time
to go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh.
Giddy-ap, jingle-horse, pick up your feet, jingle around the clock;
Mix and mingle in a jin-gl-in’ beat, that’s the jingle-bell rock.

Here comes the snow. It’s fallin’ down. It’s fallin’ gently upon the ground. Here comes the snow. It’s fallin’ down.
It leaves a blanket upon the ground, ground, ground.
Snow, snow, snow, snow! Snow, snow, snow, snow! Snow, snow, snow, snow! Snow, snow, snow, snow!
Peacefully the flakes of white are falling down on us tonight.
Stay in by the fireside
or bundle up and go outside.
Down the road upon a sleigh, just having fun this winter day.
Down a hill upon a sled
then snuggle in a winter bed.
Falling down, down, down, down. Falling down, down, down.
repeat all
Here comes the snow.
Rudolph the Reindeer
Words by: Robert L. May Music by: Johnny Marks
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen; Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?
The first time, only sing song, no extras. When song repeats, THEN do the extra stuff.
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer (Reindeer)
had a very shiny nose. (Like a lightbulb!)
And if you ever saw him, (Saw him)
you would even say it glows. (Like a flashlight!)
All of the other reindeer (Reindeer)
used to laugh and call him names. (Like Pinocchio!) They never let poor Rudolph (Rudolph)
join in any reindeer games. (Like Monopoly!)
Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say: (Ho Ho Ho!) "Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"
Then all the reindeer loved him (Loved him) as they shouted out with glee, (Yippee!!) Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, (Reindeer)
you'll go down in history! (Like George Washington!)

Hot hot hot hot chocolate. I can’t get enough! Hot hot hot hot chocolate! It’s my favorite stuff. When the weather is freezing and you think you’ll turn to ice, there is nothing more pleasing than a mug of paradise.
Turn up the heat, make it steamy and sweet with marshmallows on the top.
Come fill me up to the top of my cup. I’m going to drink every drop!
Hot hot hot hot chocolate. I can’t get enough!
Hot hot hot hot chocolate. It’s my favorite stuff!

Group 2 (2x): (rest) Tssss! Make it steamy!

By Edward Pola and George Wyle, Arr. by Jay Althouse
It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year With the kids jingle belling,
And everyone telling you "Be of good cheer" It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
It's the hap -happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and hap -happy meetings When friends come to call
It's the hap - happiest season of all
There'll be parties for hosting Marshmallows for toasting And caroling out in the snow

5th Grade Promotion Music "I Was Here"
Words and Music by: Gary Burr, Hillary Dawn Scott, & Victoria Shaw
You will notice me
I'll be leaving my mark like initials carved in an old oak tree You wait and see
Maybe I'll write like Twain wrote Maybe I'll paint like Van Gogh Cure the common cold
I don't know but I'm ready start cause I know in my heart
I wanna do something that matters Say something different
Something that sets the whole world on its ear I wanna do something better
With the time I've been given And I wanna try
To touch a few hearts in this life Leave nothing less
Than something that says "I was here"
I will prove you wrong
If you think I'm all talk, you're in for a shock Cause this dream's too strong
And before too long
Maybe I'll compose symphonies, Maybe I'll fight for world peace Cause I know it's my destiny
To leave more than a trace of myself in this place
I wanna do something that matters Say something different
Something that sets the whole world on its ear I wanna do something better
With the time I've been given And I wanna try
To touch a few hearts in this life Leave nothing less
Than something that says "I was here"
And I know that I will do more than just pass through this life I'll leave nothing less than something that says …
"I was here" "I was here"
