Health Careers High School, #341

Business Careers High School, #461

John Jay High School, #1192

Warren High School, #1286

Brandeis High School, #1297

Brennan High School, #1631

Taft High School, #2153

Three factors are used to determine the rankings- percentage of students whose families qualify for lunch subsidies, index score, and the percentage of graduates who passed at least one college-level test during their high school career, also called equity and excellence.

The index score is calculated by taking the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year.
