Congratulations to Northside School District’s 206 campus first year and veteran educators of the year for the 2020-21 school year.
Due to COVID-19 protocols, this year’s special celebrations will be held virtually. Schools are planning watch parties in anticipation of the announcement of the seven District winners. Be sure to watch starting at 6:30 p.m. at nisd.net/live.
- Elementary First Year and Veteran Educators of the Year – Wednesday, May 5
- Secondary First Year and Veteran Educators of the Year – Thursday, March 6
The District Educators of the Year, as well as Northside’s nominee for Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching, will be announced during these events.
“To be honored as an Educator of the Year is such a tremendous accomplishment in Northside,” said Superintendent Brian T. Woods. “These are teachers who truly are passionate about helping children and serving the community, and they give more than 100 percent each and every day.”
