Free event about children’s mental wellness

One in five children experience a mental, emotional, or behavioral problem. To learn more about warning signs, how to find help, and how to work with schools, attend the free event “Strong Minds and Healthy Hearts- A Conversation on Children’s Mental and Emotional Wellness.”

The event is from 6- 8:15 p.m., Thursday, August 17 at the Northside Activity Center, 7001 Culebra Road.

Free childcare will be provided to all attendees. A light meal will be served at 6 p.m. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. and a Spanish interpreter will be available.
