Nineteen NISD athletes from ten high schools were selected to play in the 2021 San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game.
Players representing 62 high schools have been chosen for the game which will showcase top local high school players. The game will be played at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021 at Heroes Stadium.
Team Gold will be coached by David Branscom from Brandeis High School.
Players were nominated by their high school coaches and chosen by a selection committee.
The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game, presented by H-E-B, will feature players that are committed to play for some of the top universities in the country as well as players looking for an additional chance to impress college scouts.

The system for selecting rosters for the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game is based on five-year winning percentages of teams. In 2020, Team Black won a thriller over Team Gold, 35-34.
