NISD College, Career, and Military Night goes virtual

The annual NISD College, Career, and Military Night is going virtual but will continue to provide students and families an opportunity to learn and plan for the future.

The District will participate in the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (TACRAO) Virtual College Fair. Although Northside ISD’s assigned time is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, students will be able to access the website as soon as they create an account. Virtual tours and information sessions are included on the website with more than 300 colleges and universities participating this year.

On the evening of Nov. 2, students will be able to chat online with university representatives.

“College, Career, and Military Night provides students and their parents the opportunity to become more familiar with institutions of higher education from all over Texas and the nation,” said Mary Libby, Director of Guidance and Counseling. “Though it is a virtual event this year, we are hopeful that our families will explore these resources.”

Register and set up an online account here. Accounts should be created in advance of the Nov. 2 date and those registered will have access to the website throughout the fall.
