Northside ISD continues to host COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the convenience of anyone desiring the vaccine. Individuals may begin the vaccine with the first, or second dose, or get a booster if qualified.
The COVID-19 vaccine is available for anyone 3 years or older.
- Ages 3 and 4 may receive the vaccine either 1st or 2nd dose, 21 days or more apart.
- Ages 12-15 may receive the Pfizer vaccine either 1st or 2nd dose, 21 days or more apart –boosters approved for this group five months after the second dose.
- Ages 16 and older may receive the Pfizer vaccine either 1st or 2nd dose, 21 days or more apart – boosters are approved five months after the second dose.
An additional booster is approved four months after the first booster for anyone age 50 and older.
Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available.
