NISD to provide free meals for students during Winter Break

Hunger doesn’t take a break regardless if school is in session or not, so Northside ISD is opening two campus cafeterias during the upcoming Winter Break.

To assist with meeting students’ nutritional needs, free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all children 18 years and under. All children from the area are welcome; you do not have to be enrolled in a NISD school. In addition, the NISD Learning Tree will open the gym and have creative art activities available for the families.

Meals will be provided from Dec. 20 through 23. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with lunch from 11 a.m. to noon.
