Public invited to view art

Students from four NISD middle schools are exhibiting art work they created during the two-week Summer Visual Arts Camp. The exhibit, called “Young Contemporaries,” will be held on Thursday, June 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Stevens High School. It is free and open to the public.

Fifty students have been creating contemporary art and the work that will be displayed includes a wall of eyes painted on wood by each student and a giant sculpture composed of briefcases.
