NISD announces steps to address portal outage

Due to technical issues, many students and staff across the District were unable to log in to the MyNISD portal that would allow access to approved applications, including the District’s new learning management system (LMS), Schoology.

The district’s Technology Services Team, in collaboration with the vendor of the portal application, has developed a temporary solution that will allow direct access to Schoology.

Until further notice, students and staff will be asked to sign in to Schoology directly using this link.

Students should use their S-number and network password to login to Schoology. 

Once access to the NISD portal has been fully restored, communication will be sent to parents, students, and staff.

If you are experiencing issues accessing your Google Suite (Gmail), please use the following link to access your Google applications directly: 

http://gmail.com/

You must use your full NISD email address to log in. For example:

   Student:  firstname.lastname@students.nisd.net

   Staff:        firstname.lastname@nisd.net
