Virtual Resource Fair for parents of children with special needs

The NISD Special Education Program is now hosting its annual Community Resource Fair for families of students with disabilities. This year’s event is virtual and can be accessed by first completing an online survey to register.

Representatives from the District and local agencies and organizations will provide resources to assist special education students ages 3 through 22 and their families.

The fair includes information on summer/respite opportunities, transitional information, vocational employment/day habilitation programs, residential facilities, recreational/leisure opportunities, social security/guardianship information, autism organizations, and support groups.

The Resource Fair content will be available online for the next few months to provide families time to access the information.
