Here's Some Exciting Things 3rd Grade is learning this year!
3rd grade Ward Wranglers are finishing up a math unit where they gained proficiency in multiplying 2 digits by 1 digit numbers with a variety of strategies. We will move on to the Fractions and Geometry Units next. As always we not only focus on the skills in isolation but more importantly through the lens of problem-solving. In ELAR, we are writing Opinion Essays, strengthening our word work knowledge with Words Their Way, and beginning our Contemporary Literature Unit. Science and Social Studies are integrated. We just finished up our It's a Matter of Business Unit and is prepared to begin our Celebrating Energy Unit.
