Warriors Dress for Success
- Crop Tops, spaghetti straps, midriff tops or tops that are too revealing will be prohibited.
- Shorts and skirts must not to be shorter than 4 inches above the knee.
- Biker shorts will not be allowed.
- Jeans are not to have large holes above the knees.
At WHS we recognize the importance of individuality with regard to dress; however, the learning environment needs to be free of disruptions and distractions that dress code violations cause.
Students will be expected to follow the dress code guidelines set forth by the district. In an effort to promote a safe and positive school environment which is conducive to learning, our Warriors should wear APPROPRIATE clothing that will not cause disruptions in learning or safety.
The dress code will be strictly enforced. The administration of the school has final authority on all matters relating to the dress code. All students violating the dress code may be given clothing to change into or be given the opportunity to request clothing from home from their guardian.
Students violating the dress code will be issued a consequence. Repeat dress code offenders are subject to further disciplinary action.
Dress Code Violation Examples
Students shall be dressed and groomed in a manner that is clean, neat, and shall not be disruptive or a safety hazard to themselves or others. The items below are not all inclusive. Please refer to the district handbook for additional information. Final determination of acceptable dress and grooming rests with the campus administration.
No excessively ripped jeans above mid thigh
Skirt/dress/short length must be mid thigh or longer
No hoods or sunglasses allowed in the building
No biker shorts or sagging pants are allowed
No muscle shirts or inappropriate graphics or language on clothing
No see through, strapless, low cut, midriffs, spaghetti strap or racer back shirts allowed
