Dear Team Zachry Families,

This is Ms. Allain your principal!  I miss you all so much and can not wait to meet our new incoming 6th grade students and families. This year I will be sending out a Wolverine Wire to you via email every week. Since our planning for the 2020-2021 school year is changing rapidly our goal is to keep the lines of communication open. As you see above all the Administrators’ phone numbers, emails and our main campus number are listed to ease communication by phone or email.  Congratulations to our former Assistant Principal Ms. Juliana Molina who has  been appointed as our Academic Dean! We are also welcoming Ms. Gina Rodriguez, who is joining us from NSITE Magnet HS where she was the Vice Principal. Ms. Rodriguez will be joining us as we plan for our new Magnet School Program - Cybersecurity, Global Communications and Information Technology which will recruit current 5th graders for the 6th grade class of 2021-2022 school year. More to come as this program launches. Ms. Cuevas, our former Academic Dean, was named the Principal at Pease MS and we wish her all the best. Right now you should have gotten an email from NISD on Sunday sharing the information about Face to Face or Distance Learning as your make a decision for your student. We will all be in Distance Learning for the first two weeks of the school year as NISD is following the City and County guidelines. I will be hosting two Town Hall Zoom meetings for families to ask questions and to update you on how we are #Buildingforthefuture.

I look forward to seeing you at the Town Hall as we plan for a safe and exciting 2020-2021  School year.

Susan Allain, Principal Zachry MS.
