Welcome to Evening High School

The Evening High School program is an opportunity for students to "catch up" on missed or failed work they accumulated at their home campus. EHS provides students the opportunity to stay on a timely course toward graduation. Students may earn up to 2 1/2 credits per year during 5 instructional sessions–which includes a summer session.

Located in building F on the Holmes High School campus, the tuition-based instruction is available for any student who meets criteria and who is referred by a guidance counselor from their home campus. Enrollment at EHS fluctuates from 250 students to over 500 students depending on the session.

Orientation
Session I, September 8

Students receive vital information during orientation night, which is the first night of every session. Students will receive the following information at orientation:

• Orientation PowerPoint handouts
• Orientation letter to parents/guardians
• Course syllabus / curriculum guide
• Northside ISD's student handbook

Students are expected to inform the parent/guardian of any future information or refer back to this web site for updates.

Registration
Session I, September 2, 3, and 4

All students must present the registration certificate from their school counselor stating course and semester to be taken along with the registration fee.
