Technology and Engineering Literacy assessment

8th graders will begin the day with Field day activities so as to support families who may wish to attend graduation ceremonies at elementary schools.

8th grade Awards will begin at 2:20 PM

Awards celebration will run from 8:45-10:15 AM

Field day will begin after lunch.

Award Ceremony will run from 8:45-1015 AM

6th and 7th graders will be taking the Math (4/24) and Reading (4/25) STAAR tests.
8th graders will take the Social Studies (4/23) and Science (4/26) tests.

Students are allowed to dress according to NISD standards if they wear a college shirt to school on Friday, April 20, 2012.

Students who complied with Zachry's standard dress policy over the course of the 4th six weeks grading cycle will get to dress according to NISD standards. They will receive wristbands on Wednesday if they qualify.

Gabe Salazar will talk to all students regarding pertinent teen topics, STAAR testing, good choices, and setting and reaching goals. School will be on an amended schedule.
